2022 Toyota Prius Nightshade Edition Debuts

STOKED INTERIOR: The new 2022 Prius Nightshade comes standard with SofTex-trimmed seats throughout the cabin. The cabin, itself, provides 50.7 cu.- ft. of cargo space when the rear seatbacks are folded down. The FWD model offers a heated driver’s seat with eight-way power-adjustable controls and lumbar support. The passenger seat is four-way power-adjustable. For your convenience, there is the standard seven-inch touchscreen display and six-speaker JBL sound system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa compatibility.

POWER OF THE NIGHTSHADE: The Prius Nightshade Special Edition adds more sauce to the Prius fuel-efficient family with its combination of a 1.8-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine and two motor generators that work alongside an electronically-controlled CVT transmission. The Prius Nightshade comes in the AWD-e model in which the system provides the power to the rear wheels to boldly pull away from a stop. There is also a sturdy FWD-e model available.

SAFETY: Safety is everything in the 2022 Nightshade Special Edition and comes with Toyota’s Star Safety system which includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Anti-lock Brake System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, and Smart Stop Technology. Also equipped is the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection that provides automatic braking capability under certain conditions should the driver not react in time.
