2023 Toyota Sequoia: What’s New?

There are so many new aspects of the 2023 Toyota Sequoia. One of the largest changes is the engine. The new standard and only engine choice is the i-Force Max that debuted on the all-new Tundra. This engine is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 paired with a hybrid battery and electric motor. This engine is good for an impressive 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. of torque. This can be paired with two-wheel drive or 4×4 and can tow a maximum of 9,000 pounds.

Another notable new feature is a segment-first adjustable third row of seats. The third-row seats can slide up to six inches to provide more legroom for passengers or more cargo capacity for your gear. The third row can also fold down to complement the different storage positions of the new Adjustable Cargo Shelf System. This is a removable shelf that can be set in a variety of storage positions depending upon the situation. The Cargo Shelf System is designed to offer the ultimate flexibility in rear cargo and storage needs.

Another new addition is the Capstone trim level, which is the top-of-the-line Sequoia trim. The Capstone is going to be the pinnacle of luxury for Toyota. The Capstone will feature the best in interior luxury materials and the latest technology.
